New Publications for English Horn and Piano

Sat, Jun 4th, 2011

I am pleased to announce that Editions Bim (Switzerland) has published my adaptation of Maurice Ravel's Pavane pour une infante défunte for English Horn (or other alto instruments) and piano (Editions Bim OB11).

The is my second publication with this international publisher, the first being my arrangement of Ludwig van Beethoven's Seven Variations on the theme"Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen,"from Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute, scored for English Horn and Piano. The catalog number is Bim OB9.  The decision to publish the work was in response to requests from fellow English Hornists who have heard my public performances of the piece and wanted copies of the music to add to their own solo repertoire.

I have recorded both pieces which were released July, 2011 on Crystal Records (CD 823) entitled Eclecticism.
